I was driving, almost at home when I saw that the full moon was coming up just behind those cows. I hurried home, got my camera went back, climbed the highest hill and was there just on time!

Anyway, this is unique shot...I love it! What a great photo to start off here on TrekEarth. This is a great view with the cows on the top of the hill and the moon giving some light to the scene. Great composition and well captured! Great work!

et bienvenue sur TE, je sens que l'on va avoir droit à de biens jolies compositions de Nouvelle Zélande, on ne peut pas dire que l'on en voit beaucoup jusqu'à présent.
Ici une belle composition entre les vaches et la lune.
Et le choix du format panoramique est très bon.

Wow This is a beautiful photo! It seems like it's from some disney movie because the colors and the position of the moon over the cows seems so unreal. I really like how you captured the cows on the horizon without any background. This gives it a very pleasing look.

Hi just love this composition! THe colours are amazing and the sillouet of the cows perfect. Good maniging of light.If you dont mind i'll use it as inspiration for a paiting.

This is a stunning image Ludi, congratulations! you have the exposure and the composition perfect

My only suggestion, and it's a minor one, is the cow right on the left-hand edge is a bit cramped in the frame. Myself, I would clone this out to leave a bit of 'breathing room' and balance the space on the right-hand side.
