Hey Jim........ this one is a really really beautiul shot............ I can sense the early morning in this shot.......... The sky and its reflection on almost everything below is mesmerizing........... everything else has also been captured so sharply.......... beautiful.............tfs

I saw this on FB and am even more impressed seeing it here. Did you know we can post a lot larger format here now?

Anyway, back to your photo. The pastel pink and blue tones are pure magic. The slow shutter has turned this into something out of a fairytale. My favourite element is the silvery blue light shining off the wet sand in the foreground, followed closely by those amazing stacks and their reflections. A superbly balanced and exposed shot, as usual. So good to see you back posting here. Hope the little fella is well and letting you out with the camera a bit more ;)

What a great feeling this photo makes. The early dawn seems a good time to be out walking the beach. Super colors. Love the distant snow peak on the horizon. Good work!

beautiful light and balanced composition here. The soft tones are gorgeous. one question: why the panoramic-like format? Needed to crop out a few disturbing elements? Not that it bothers me but i'm curious....

You have some really spectacular images of New Zealand in your gallery. I was drawn to this thumbnail with its soft morning light and great textures of the rocks. Upon opening it, I see that you have also perfectly framed the rising mountain in the distance. Congrats on a fantastic and beautiful picture!
