Champagne Pool, a photo from Bay of Plenty, North Island

Photographer's Note

This picture was taken in a place named Wai-O-Tapu thermal wonderland. It is situated south of the town Rotorua. Wai-O-Tapu means “Sacred Waters” and it is probably one of the volcanic areas in New Zealand. This place is called “Champagne Pool” and it’s boiling and vapor everywhere. Very hot and a terrible sulphuric smell!

Bonjour Pascal,
cet endroit si souvent posté et toujours de magnifiques photos, la tienne n'échappe pas à cette qualité.
Un très bel angle de prise de vue pour nous faire profiter de ces couleurs fantastiques et ces fumées nauséabondes.

Scary water indeed. You captured this pool very good, the red water in combination with the light rock and the very dark mountain.

TRès belle photo de paysage.
Les couleurs sont magnifiques, la composition très réussie, l'angle de prise de vue aussi.
L'image est très nette, bref du beau travail.

Une belle image d'un endroit que je connais pas. j'aime bien ton angle de vue près du sol qui donne de la profondeur à la photo. Les couleurs sont magnifiques.
