Photographer's Note
The title is intentionally misleading, the name of the beach is Green's Pool, near the tiny village of Denmark. A reef separates the rough open ocean from the calm water of this beach. The water still comes and goes with the waves, but very gently. Aclose up will be posted to workshop.
from the internet:
Denmark, Western Australia. A town of great beauty and tranquility, nestled upon the Denmark River and Wilson Inlet. Upon reaching the town, visitors soon become aware of the magnificent forest which surrounds the town, and that sweep down to join the sea. The town creates a picture of contrasting images, from the forest, to the river, to the ocean, all equally stunning. With a variety of activities and secluded from urbanisation, the town is a great holiday spot.
One of the most photographed sections of the southern coastline is Greens Pool with its shallow waters, white sand and granite boulders. The waters are very sheltered and offer safe swimming.

kaptan,
çok muazzam bir kompozisyon, nefis bir derinlik var.dalgaların köpüğünde beyazı yakalamak ta ayrı bir keyif veriyor, soldaki büyük taş ta olaya denge getiriyor bence.

Hi Tan,
Great and splendid capture at Australia in this calm water beach paradise landscape in a low angle approach in a clear picture that you composed and framed so well as usual. Excelent and superb colors, contrast, blue sky and the atmosphere so well rendered by your great eye catch. I like low or upper horizon and in this case is the second one.
Very good work and a great one with a fantastic quality and personal insight.
Congratulations and my tribute to this great picture.
Best to you.

Hi Tan,
Your beachphoto looks great. The colors are very strong.
Did you change the colorbalance? The blue of the sky is in fact dark grey I suppose?
The contrast is working very fine too.
Thanks and regards, Gerrit

Wow! This one has instant appeal, mainly because of that gorgeous colour. It's so vivid! I like that V-shape in the foreground, and the way the smooth sand and water leads to the rough rocks and waves. Great work!

Hi Tan. Your title gave me a nice chuckle. Well I see we've returned to the super-saturation we've all come to know and love from you. As a suggestion I might have tried to get even lower and closer to the water to see what happened Well done Tan!

Hi Tan,
Well it does not look so much Danish as I know it, but nerver mind I like here the clarity of the water I can feel from the deepening of tones as we move away from the shore and also from the sublte water movements that can be seen.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

The texture of the water in the foreground makes it look as if it's made of a rubbery material. It makes me want to lift up a corner of it. It's a great effect!
The different hues of green and blue are fantastic.

Lovely picture, Tan!
Good clouds formation and deep blue color, good deep DOF with capture of the wave crashing on the distance rocks and the triangular wave in the FG is a strong element in the picture, with the soft rappels...Great colors!
Just beautiful!

Hi Tan
Beautiful water colour and I like the V shape as it moves in. Looks so tempting but it would have been a bit cold for me in September. I like the waves breaking in the background.
