One last granite area national park - this one being Cathedral Rocks NP near the small town of Ebor. This is another old visit, 1993 when I climbed these rocks with my son.
The highest point of the area is a jumble of large granite boulders and the climb is quite steep. In the WS you can see my son pulling himself up a chain on one of the steepest parts. Not one I could load as a main one.
At the top I managed to drop my lens cap and it rolled and rolled and dropped, bouncing down between the rocks never to be seen again.
