Photographer's Note

I recently ventured out to Kanangra Walls, deep in the Blue Mountains National Park. At the end of the dirt road is a track that leads to spectacular cliffs and valleys (for another posting).
Along the way I came across this mother and joey wallabies. They are the most common wallaby in the east of NSW - Swamp Wallabies - shy but cute. Mum had been through wet vegetation, hence the wet looking fur.
Even better in high definition.
If you're not sure wallabies are smaller than kangaroos but there are also lots of others in the same (marsupial)family.
