Photographer's Note

North of Albany is the hilly Porongurup national park. We went for a walk along this track amongst beautiful tall eucalypts.
However shortly after I took this photo massive winds blew up - like a cyclone without the rain. Branches were coming down all around. Then disaster - a small twig came down and went behind her glasses and scratched her eye. I had to race to the nearest town dodging huge trees that that had come down.
She ended up on her back for 5 days in Albany hospital. Fotunately there was no permanent damage.
