Photographer's Note

From car grave yard to human grave yard.
Ora Banda is another goldfields ghost town north of Kalgoorlie. It reached its peak with 2,000 people in 1910.
Like so many of the other old gold mining towns there is still some mining (open cut instead of underground) so there is no need for a town. But, of course, the 1911 built pub still survives.
This cemetery is in the middle of a eucalypt forest and scrub - just a few identifiable graves remain, this being the most prominent surrounded by red dirt.

Best in the large view.
