Photographer's Note

The small town of Terowie lies 220 km north of Adelaide. Its population at the last census was just 131. In its early days it was a significant railway town and junction but the railway got moved and Terowie has been asleep every since. We didn't see a single person as we passed through.
Here is a row of 6 empty shops, typical of the town.

Best in the large view.
