Hi Steve/Ioana,
Nice leading lines created by the railway ... it leads the viewer's focus towards the old station. Well composed ... very good color and contrast. Well done! tfs

Hello S & I.
That's a beautifull image, a fantastic document of the railway yards..
Here in my place, we used to go to the "Kollam railway station" to watch the rails and the yards in our childhood days.
Great to go back in memories with your image.
Have a great time, dear friends.

Steve & Ioana
A very well thought out and composed picture. Just came back from near Quorn and missed the Pichi Richi Railway. I will have to go back.
The balance in the colour is excellent.
THanks for sharing.

Great compo and colours from Australia. I like the desert aspect and the way you bring our eyes to the old station.

Hello Steve and Ioana,
I visited Quorn en route from Port Augusta to Wilpena Pound. Of all the places I visited in outback South Australia, this was the most memorable and ‘classical’. One thing that catches my eye here is the distinctive variety of colour and contrast. The parallel lines of the assorted rail tracks makes for a perfect foreground, running towards the historic station. The silo tower adds the necessary height required to boost the vertical composition of the scene, along with the iconic eucalyptus varieties. The pebbles in the near ground are effective at adding that extra bit of texture that you needed. A good frame draws out the best colourations. This will continue to reinforce my memory of this place. Thank you for that.
Matt
