Photographer's Note

As we wandered down to the beach at Seal Bay we came across this sea lion pup demanding to be fed. I'm not sure whether mum was looking at me or the pup. The request was granted by mum, as you can see in the workshop where the pup is tucking into dinner.

Hello Ian, Wonderful scene. I have seen many seals and sea lions but never the feeding. Cute baby, quite big compared to mother.

Hello Ian,
These photos compete with Kasia's goslings for being the cutest pictures of the day. They are almost too intimate. ;-) But what a joy to see this IRL, and with enough time for a technically perfect photo.

Hello Ian,
An excellent close-up photo of this sea lion and its child lying next to each other in the sand. Very good clarity and sharpness and the light was most appealing as well.

Ian, the baby seal is drinking his mother's milk on a beach in Kangaroo island. The mother is vigilant and watches around while being busy. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
