Gardiner Dust Storm, a photo from South Australia, West

When I went to Lake Gardiner last year near the Gawler Ranges out of the fine sunny days we were given, the day I needed one we had a dust storm… go figure. I made the most of it though, and here’s the result. it’s me in another Cowboy look, but very small in comparison to the big country I was in. This photo reminds me how small I am compared to nature.

Hi Andrew.

A fantastic landscape, with a fantastic mood. I like the high contrast and grain in this image. The burnt out sky and closed shadows do suit this shot. Would have been great with something like a armchair in this shot just as a quirky thing:)

It has a certain u2 joshua tree feel about it.
