Uluru (aka Ayres Rock) changes colour at dusk. Here the shadow is just about to rise from the base of the rock as the sun sets. Taken from the "Sunset" viewing area.

stunning colors, a closer image to the rocks would be much more stunning though. nice shot.

Hi John.
Ah the sunset at Uluru. I went there to get this shot, and got endless rain and waterfalls, which was a pleasant surprise. This is stunning. Great light and colour. Very beautiful. Well done.

Hello John,

Uluru is certainly in the top five places I have been, I was intrigued by its size, isolation and strange appearance. This is the usual north-western aspect of the rock, and probably the most uniform, but as you would know the monolith looks very peculiar from certain angles. In a very rudimentary way, this reminds me of the flag of the Aboriginal People. It is a strange thing to be in the area, the rock certainly has a presence about it, it seems to follow you around like someone is watching over your shoulder…. What can I say? Excellent bright colourations, great clarity and good placement. I love it.

Great picture of the Aiers Rock!Everything fine,just one little suggestion for improvement:I wouldn´t have made the contrast between the upper and the lower side too strong...
