Ubirr Rock is in the east of Kakadu National Park. It is quite prominent sitting beside flat wetlands. I'll post a photo of the rock from below as a workshop.
Ubirr is visited not just for the daytime views but also for the good sunsets and that's what the people in this photo were waiting for. One our visit the sunset wasn't a great one but so I'll just post the sunset as another workshop.
Probably the best feature of Ubirr is the Aboriginal rock art scattered around on rock walls under overhangs. I'll post photos of some separately.
