Photographer's Note

Sunset over the Brighton Pier in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
I tried to put the sun directly behind the iron bar, so that the shadows of the pier's legs could be seen more easily.
What I liked most about the photo in the end though was the way the flat top of the pier and the horizon almost formed a perfectly straight line. Something I didn't notice while taking the photo.
