Place: Mt.Dandenong.

Fog: My another experimenting shot.

It was a rainy day but I decided to go up to the mountain, lots of fog up there. I waited about an hour before the rain was stopped.

from the thumbnail it did look mysterious. and it is , very good nature shot. You succeede in making us feel the rain, the dampness. Good.

You've captured the atmosphere well here, i like how we can see the mist gradually getting thicker as the trees become less visible. It is mysterious, well done.

A very pretty photo Din, and so different from your normal subjects. Very well done. I love the bright light thru' the fog. The tree fern in the middle adds a great deal to the photo aswell.

I think you have captured the atmosphere very well. I like the composition a lot and the way the mist make this softness in the whole picture.

You're showing a wonderfully creative range in your latest postings, Din. One day it's a priceless portrait, the next day an action shot, and here again something different. Your title is perfect, the atmosphere is like a scene from a fairy tale. Great composition where the staggered placement of the trees helps to support the effect of the mist getting "thicker and thicker". Well done.

Très belle prise de vue dramatique. L'arbre enveloppé dans la brume est du plus bel effet. L'encadrement fait bien ressortir la composition.

Very very nice. The mist you have captured is great and the composition is excellent. I like in particular the soft, muted colours.

Dear Din, very cool picture, almost no green in there. Composition is great with the big tree on the right and the small one beside it. Also the light spot on the upper left. The scene looks almost like out of "Last Samurai" when they first attacked. Well done, Din :)

A wonderful quiet and still mood is created here. The softness of the fog and muted colors enhance that mood, while the strong silhouettes of the trees makes for a fine composition. Well done.

I missed this 1st post Din, and what a oversite.
This is superb, full of implied depth even though visibility is obviously low. The detail in the foreground is finely rendered but the overall feeling is one of softness and quiet.
