ho rowan, a delightful stuff, huge doll dominating the scene and weaving her tool over the couple;
excellent capture and composition;
best wishes, jerzy

Ok about the idea Rowan, although the guy is not very adequately located : too greyish on a grey background (if you crop the left hand side along the stool line, this would be much better IMO).
Also your scan is dreadful (sorry I can't find any other words...) from the heavy grain, it looks like this is more nitting works than photo!!! even a 1.2 Mpix shot from a mobile would be more consistent, what happened?

A nice composition which certainly does a good job of grabbing my attention, but I agree with Luko, the quality of the image takes a lot away from it.

Hi Rowan. The composition is good and I like that the 2 people are about to converge. i think Luko already made the best points, particularly about the grey shirt/greybackground. The heavy grain isn't great but it does make the scene a little more surreal.

Salut Rowan
Le scan ne sont pas faciles à réaliser, je passe le cote grain.
La prise en elle même est superbe, c'est bien vu.
Well done

I agree with the prro quality, but love the climax. Seems like ants going to be smashed, quit humorous and well catched.

The idea is great. The technical presentation a bit lacking. Heres my suggestion. You kno where this is, go there again. Spend some time at the place and set yourself up a great shot from here. I think its worth it for sure as this is a dream of a backdrop for a photo Rowan.

Hi Rowan,
You have post some very nice B&W pictures. The composition here is great and the light is very nice, but you got heavy noises on your pic. Keep posting. My best regards.

Hi Rowan,
This is great... I can't believe I've not seen it before. It's a little too grainy, but I guess this is something that went wrong as part of the scan/upload stage. Even the two people are great... the guy to the left looks like he is walking backwards!
Thanks for sharing. Lewis.

Hello. Great photo. Very small people and huge doll from poster- scene like from horror movie, smart composition. I dont agree with luko, vapours, and jinju about quality and colours - in my opinion they are really go with to all and create here something like - dificult find where is real world and where is end poster.

Hi Rowan!
All you B&W serie is nice! This shot is pretty damn good at getting the attention. I agree with Luko and Vapours, the "grain" is quite disturbing. I read your reply so I guess that you can't do much about it! It's still a good shot!

THen we have this surreal juxtaposition. Well seen, but the crop was from a relatively small region of the frame I guess, so the scan pixels are intruding. But the content of your image is terrific, and kudos for that alone.

I am not sure about the noise here, but the idea is great, very well seen and composed.

A funny one... this doll looks somehow strange: like from a horror movie... and this fork in the hand... quite dangerous in this size :)

Hi Rowan, i just had a look in your last page of uploads, you have an excellent eye, your pictures tells a story, i stop onthis one that i find funny : where giants are babies. Strong PP with added grain, that works for me
Good !

bonjour Rowan,
vos images en n&b sont vraiments marquées par un style, j'aime beaucoup. Celle-ci se détache du lot par votre coup d'oeil et se qu'elle exprime.
