Photographer's Note
The Great Otway National Park is a national park in Victoria (Australia), 162 km southwest of Melbourne. The 103 km˛ park was declared in 2004 when Otway National Park, Angahook-Lorne State Park, Carlisle State Park, Melba Gully State Park, areas of the Otway State Forest and a number of Crown Land reserves were combined into one park. The Park is notable for its diverse range of landscapes and vegetation types. It was created after a successful campaign by the community, led by the Otway Ranges Environment Network.
The park runs along the coast in the Otway Ranges, offering good access to beaches and to the Otway forest. There are many walking tracks in the park allowing access to the beaches. The Cape Otway Lighthouse is adjacent to the park.
This shot offers a view of the rugged coastline from a vantage point near the lighthouse.

Hi Alfred,
Oh to see Otway in such calm weather. I once spent two days on a 30ft yacht trying to round Cape Otway in a North Westerly gale, we got smashed. All we did was bob up and down in the same spot for 48 hours with waves crashing over the boat. When eventually we passed the Cape and watched the loom from the lighthouse disappear over the horizon it was a place I never wanted to see again.
But here it is and it's so beautiful, the crystal clear water, the gentle swell breaking on the shore and your superb composition make me almost want to go back.
It's a lovely postcard Alfred, well done.
Cheers
Peter

Hi Alfred, I knew I should have toured with you and the Naughty Schoolboys! I missed this place whilst trying to beat the storm. It's lovely. You've captured it expertly. I love the green tones of the sea and that wonderful sky, dramatic as always. TFS and I can't see any red in this photo at all

Hello Alfred, Well composed, well balanced with everything in the correct place, a very beautiful scene, well captured, colours are fantastic as is the clarity & so natural looking. I don't remember it looking so nice maybe I was distracted, this was the spot where the "Wicked" photos were taken ?? As Peter said a postcard, my compliments.

Hi Alfred
I love this coastline and you have captured it superbly. However did you find this spot I've traveled the Great Ocean road many times but haven't seem
this one. Very well composed, unbelievably natural colours with great contrast. And that island (at high tide that is), looks like a small castle in that lovely green water. TFS

Hi Alfred,
Very nice, high quality glossy look. Everything is well placed & in good proportion. The white foams lead to the outer rock. Very scenic. Well captured. Is the attached lens the one you bought in KL? Regards. Latiff.
