Photographer's Note

Taken early on a cold & misty morning at Lake Wendouree. This lake was the site for the rowing events in the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Recently with the drought, the water level receded so much so that the lake was more like a bog... the local papers also reported joggers getting stuck in the mud trying to walk across. With the recent rains, the lake is now filled with water again.
