Photographer's Note
Lake St Clair lies within Tasmania's Wilderness World Heritage area. Around the lake are many walking tracks that showcase the wonderful flora of the area.
I only had a few hours to explore some of the shorter walks, but along the way I found this tree that had fallen towards the lake.

Hello David,
I do like your imaginative view point, the view along the tree trunk gives a really nice depth to this well composed photograph.
I might have darkened the sky a little but that`s a matter of personal choice, altogether a very well produced mono shot.
Thanks for the note, this is an area that we are hoping to visit next year.
Best regards Les.
