Photographer's Note

This was taken in the rocks close to where they meet the ocean at Bicheno on an overcast morning. The red colouration of the rock is caused by lichen which covers many of the rocks in the area.

I reduced the brightness of the sky in PS as it was a bit overexposed and also increased the yellow saturation in the bottom left corner to highlight the grass. The shot was taken with a CPL filter

Strangley when I first posted this is appeared much less saturated in my browser than in PS, so I deleted it, increased the overall saturation and tried again.
