Clouds, but No Rain, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

Taken I think a few hours after the earlier shot. The clouds have increased, but due to the wind, they were racing across the sky. So, no rain on this dry land that has had the drought for more than ten years.
A difficult shot to pull off as I was shooting towards the sun's light which was strong despite the clouds. as you can imagine, I had to brighten the image substantially and having lost some definition and colour, I needed to increase contrast and neutral tones, plus fiddle with selective colours in order to bring back some vibrancy.

A nice image of this field and pretty clouds in the sky, Klaudio... Dry you say? Everything is relative, to someone from the Middle East this looks like quite a green field... Regards, Daniel

I so love shots like this of our country. Just makes me want to go there and sit in the field. It may have been difficult to pull off, but you have really managed it well, I'm so envious of your technical skills. The detail in the shot is remarkable. Your composition with the abandoned farm machinery in foreground balances perfectly the wide grassy fields and low hills. Great shot.

I like the dynamic clouds very much, since you have chosen a perfect perspective to capture them. Also the colours are really impressive. Great composition!

Hi Klaudio. Still drought! Ours was much shorter and is now just a memory, in fact we are the opposite now with gumboots being the favored footwear at the moment! Your ND Grad would have worked well here. Still you have a nice result for your efforts. Very natural colours and good detail. Great sky also. Thanks for sharing.

how beautiful the sky, so much clouds. and looks very spacial the landscape.
occasionally I can also see such kind of clouds in low altitude sky from my office window. very spectacular.
