Outback creeks, a photo from New South Wales, East

I'm now leaving the district around Trilby and Louth and heading south down the Darling River to our next stop at the town of Menindee (yes - a town!).
The road was a bit away from the Darling River but we did cross a couple of creeks.
We crossed the creek in the main photo on a bridge with this being the view looking east along what looks like a well watered creek but if you look at the first WS you'll see a photo of the same creek looking west without a drop of water in sight.
In the second WS is another creek, this one with some birds.

Lepa reka i drvece na obali, dobro poakzano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa ovlacima koji dolaze i najvaljuju promenu vremena.
Dobar rad sa lepim fotografijama u radionici.
lepa priroda.

Hello Ian,
It's a flat and rather monotonous scenery, but the trees and their reflections in the creek (where there is water) still create an interesting view. I'm looking forward to seeing the "town" with a population of 632 (according to Wikipedia).

On each picture I'm most impressed by the wonderful sky.
In fact, most of the life can be found in the clouds every time.
Your photo with the birds has the best composition in my opinion.

Hello Ian,

This is a good composition, using the river so well to guide viewers into the b/g and to appreciate the riverside trees and river reflection.
I actually like the w/s with the birds a little more. The trees are so well spaced and the kink in the creek acts like a funnel.

nice these three images showing this arid area. we can feel the waters are not frequently kept in the area and this one we can see would be lost in few time.

Hi Ian,
nice natural scenery here. The light was not easy but you turned it to your advantage.
I like in particular the smooth shadows of the trees on the water surface.
