Photographer's Note

ENGLISH: This is St Patrick's Church at the Rocks in Sydney. It is one of the oldest places of Catholic worship in Australia. It was built in the early 1840s in the Gothic style, made of Sydney sandstone. Prior to it being built, and in the absence of a priest in the young Colony, Catholics worshipped on this site in the house of William Davis. The Church has been in the care of the Marist Brothers since 1838. St Patrick's Church is the busiest church in Australia with at least eight serving priests and multiple Masses every day.

In my Workshop is a photo of Father McMurrich holding a Nuptial Mass.
