Hi Ian,
It is not very common to see such purple sunset and they certainly are worth of photos. Good framing showing that opening between eucalyptus trees. The horizon line looks interesting. On normal size it looks blurry, but full size view reveals top branches reaching above the rest.

I can’t recall ever seeing a sunset with colours like this in the UK!

I like the play beyween the lighted and shadowed areas. The point of view is showing the details of the clouds and of the trees. The sunset is giving nice colors to the sky. Have a nice day.

About once a year such a sky can be seen from my window at home. That actually happens on a cold winter morning.
If I am not at home, I can forget it again for a year ... :)

Sometimes beauty lies in our own backyard, like this one.
I bet you get lots of great sunset with the openness of this surrounding. Only the silhouette of the trees adding to the tantalizing skies with its calmness.
A great sunset to end the day, tomorrow will be as good as yesterday. Or even better.
