Photographer's Note

We left Mungo National Park and started for home - a 2 day drive. Along the way we paused for lunch beside a billabong (a river bend cut off when the river changed direction) at the tiny town of Maude. This pair of photos will probably be the only ones from Maude to ever be posted on TE.
A massive dead tree with an interesting shadow was beside the billabong and if you look closely in the large view you'll see a family of ducks cruising on the water to the right of the tree.
In the workshop a view along the billabong looking the other way.
