Photographer's Note
The other week I travelled over the Blue Mountains to Lithgow (New South Wales) for my aunties funeral. She was a marvelous lady who had a kind smile and friendly word for everyone. Once out of our car in the town I looked up and was struck by the light pole, criss cross of wires and the wonderful blue sky.
The ole iPhone is ever ready to grab a shot which I did. In fact I took a series of the same POV. But the first shot was by far the best. A little bit of clarity work plus a some vignette was added.
Dedicated to the now free spirit of my Aunty Roma.

Hi Graham, nice dedication for your dear auntie. I feel sorry. beautiful shot accompany it - this construction resembles the cross. The sky is really wonderful blue and contrast beautifully with the wires and the pole. usually the cables are night mare for photographer, here they are in favour.
Warm regrads from Warsaw

Hello Graham - Not a subject everyone would choose but you have approached it with creative freedom. The vertical framing has provided you with a strong graphic composition where the lines radiate out to all edges and corners of the frame giving the feel of movement and keeping the eyes occupied. I like the idea of the vignette but wonder whether a more oval shaped toning would work better. Warm regards and TFS Rosemary

Hello Graham, IT was the title that grabbed my attention, as most people in Australia would know Beyond Blue is an organisation which provides information about depression & supports people who are in someway involved. Sorry to hear of the passing of your aunt. A simple image that has impact & I think conveys the message that you are telling.
Take care
Santo
PS.I replied to one of you critiques, I apologise for being so late.

Dear Burra
I'm so sorry to read about the passing of your wonderful Aunty. May she rest in peace. I hope you and the family are okay. A very arty shot, what wonderful blue tones, and how appropriate your title to mark this dear lady's passing. nice work, very Mint Slice.

Hi Graham,
Finally home after what was a long 9 weeks... firstly it was so nice to meet you & other members of TE - Gus & I had a great day & really enjoyed ourselves.
So sorry to hear of your Aunties passing she sounds like a wonderful lady who will stay in your heart forever...
I can imagine you in a quiet moment reflecting & suddenly looking up to the beautiful blue sky with the crossing of wires... I found myself taking similar shots on our trip.
I hope this message finds you well & in good spirits.
Kindest regards,
Dawn.
