Photographer's Note

On our recent outback trip we stayed our first night at the Dubbo zoo where most animals are in open ranges. The have very comfortable "glamping" tents to stay in. Included in the stay are escorted walks (was by bus before COVID) to selected animal areas.
In the morning they had us up at 6 o'clock when the sun was just rising and the temperature was minus 4 with ice over everything. We went out to feed carrots to these 3 young male giraffes - they have amazing tongues for grabbing the carrots. A good breakfast for us followed.
In the workshop are 2 more photos a cheetah and a gibbon.
