At the National Art Museum in Canberra there is an amazing installation on show at present. It is called "Infinity Room" by the Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama.
It comprises a vibrant yellow room overrun with black polka dots of various sizes. A mirrored box at its centre houses several dozen illuminated pumpkin sculptures, which are endlessly reflected in the room’s internal mirrors.
Unfortunately the queue to enter was long and slow moving as only a few were allowed in at a time so I didn't get to see the pumpkin sculptures - just this view looking in with one puzzled looking viewer.
