Photographer's Note

A back road, mostly dirt, links the southern NSW towns of Braidwood and Cooma. We drove along it in November. To get to the Snowy mountains it makes a pleasant change to the highway through Australia's capital, Canberra.
The district around Badja on the road had suffered badly in the drought but November found the farm land lush and green with lots of scenes like this photo.
The land around there is mainly used for grazing sheep.
What that bright red bit is under the trees I couldn't work out, some sort of painted post I guess.
