Photographer's Note

Horseshoe Lagoon is part of the Murray River on the Riverina Highway leading west out of Albury on the Vic/NSW border towards Corowa.

Adjacent to the fabulous Wonga Wetlands, home to an extensive variety of water fowl, the lagoon itself is rather quieter but does host a hide for budding ornithologists. There were a few geese but otherwise all of interest but did have this fabulous sunset a few days back when I happened past, driving the road.

Hi James,
It really is a beautiful sunset. I especially like the patch of blue in the sky, the reflection and the tree silhouettes.

Is this the same Murray River in SA where you suddenly come upon a sign for a ferry and there's a little one car ferry?
