Photographer's Note

A lizard at the San Diego Zoo shot through thick glass. The reflection in the photo is of the lizard in water and not the glass. The light was terrible and the lizard would not stop moving, but I got lucky anyway, especially at 1/50 of a second. Two tips from me if you're going to try to shoot anything through glass at a Zoo or Aquarium. Go shoot as soon as the Zoo or Aquarium opens because the glass gets smudged quickly. Some places let you clean the glass, others don't. Before looking through your camera look at the glass and make sure you don't get reflections. For this shot someone stood to my right to block reflected light. Oh yeah, wear dark clothes.

I have just noticed that the resolution quality of this image is not as good as I want it to be. This is due to the fact that TrekEarth sets a limit of 200K per image. I had originally posted the image smaller to keep resolution, but got some complaints from TrekEarth members that it was too small. Now it's bigger, but has lost resoultion.
