Photographer's Note

The Oak Alley Plantation is located on the MIssissippi River, between the hostoric Louisiana cities New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The quarter-mile canopy of giant live oak trees, believed to be 300 years old, forms an impressive avenue leading to the Greek-revival style Mansion.

There was continous rain the whole day, which just stopped for a few minutes when I took this picture.
