Photographer's Note

Hello, I have recently returned from a trip to Ireland. While I organize my photos, I thought I would post some images from my recent trip to Hawaii in April.

This set of 3 small waterfalls is very close to the location where I took this previous Hawaii post

These were captured on a day tour of Maui's famous Road to Hana scenic drive. The drive is well known for its numerous waterfalls (many visible right from the roadway), lush vegetation including wild fruit trees, beautiful beaches and spectacular coastal views.

It features a narrow and curvy road that extends 50 some odd miles from the population center of Kahului to the isolated tiny village of Hana on the east end of Maui. The drive also includes many one lane bridges that kind of add to the sense of adventure on the ride.

As a photographer, you'll want to take your time and perhaps stay a night in Hana if possible. If you do so, make sure to arrange your Hana accomodations ahead of time as there are limited places to stay there.

Hope you enjoy
