Photographer's Note

It's been a while since I've posted anything and it's nice to see that Trek Earth is still going strong!

Tinicum Creek is part of the Delaware River watershed and meanders peacefully through upper Bucks County in eastern Pennsylvania (USA). It's a pleasant creek in which to dip your feet and cool off on a hot day. As a matter of fact this is exactly what I was doing when I took this photo! At one time turtles were abundant in the area that my husband and I were exploring but there were none to be seen. But there were plenty of tadpoles in the water just waiting to grow up into frogs. I would imagine that in another few weeks there's going to be quite a bit of "singing" going on in the place where we were walking. Nearby is a covered bridge that was built in 1872.
