Photographer's Note

During my first tour in California I visited Simon Rodia's Towers in Los Angeles, a quite strange work of architecture.

It was difficult to find them inside tat huge city, and also more difficulto to fine a POV to shot at them, because these high strange towers have no space around, and are protected by a fence.

I was not able to find any other picture of the towers in Trek Earth, so I decide to create a theme to describe them through many particulars and may be also in their urban context.

Also Wikipedia shows photos not very good - this spbject may be a challenge for photographers!
Let's read Wikipedia:

Nuestro Pueblo , commonly called the Watts Towers, in the Watts district of Los Angeles, California, is a collection of 17 interconnected structures, two of which reach heights of over 99 feet (30 m). The Towers were built by Italian immigrant construction worker Sabato ("Sam" or "Simon") Rodia in his spare time over a period of 33 years, from 1921 to 1954. The work is a superb example of non-traditional vernacular architecture. (.....)
