Photographer's Note

Location: American Fork Canyon, on the north side of Mt. Timpanogos, in the Wasatch Mountain range of Utah.

About the Photo: It was another wet day, which lent itself well to high-saturated colors.
This photo was kind of scary to take because I had to stand in the middle of the road. I know what you are all thinking, "What's scary about that? It looks like a safe, lonely road." Well, let me tell you. People would come speeding down this canyon like a bat out of hell. By the time I could hear a vehicle approaching I had just enough time to jump out of the way before it came whizzing by me (this happened several times). I had wanted to try a lower POV, real close to the road. But I just didn't dare squat down with by back towards oncoming traffic. Where's my dedication? ;-)
