Photographer's Note

Lake Nockamixon is a man-made lake located in the eastern part of Pennsylvania. During the warmer months it's a haven for boaters.

The hill you see in the distance is called "Haycock Mountain". Yes, to those of who who live near The Alps or any "real" mountains it must seem odd to call that a mountain. Its elevation is a mere 960 feet (293 m) and it's the highest peak in our county, so to us it is a mountain...LOL. But regardless of its elevation it provides a pleasing backdrop while strolling around the lake or sailing on it.

That year saw the end of my 5050Z. My husband dropped it when we were on vacation. He dropped it on CONCRETE! To make a long story short, when we returned from vacation we sent it back to Olympus for repair to the tune of $200. It was better than new until New Year's eve, when my brother dumped champagne all over it. Sadly, that rendered it a total loss. As much as I like the Canon EOS20D I now own, I do miss that little Olympus!
