Photographer's Note

.

Is this my last sunset photo?

Whether Houston residents welcome Hurricane RITA or not, National Hurrican Center predicted it will land within hours with deadly rainfall of 25 feet.

Remembering the lesson of the 1900 Hurricane, millions of people hit the roads, and the other millions failed to escape staying to confront the natural disaster.

This is the last picture I took of a deserted gas station a few blocks from my house, at the moment that every one considered the city where we were trapped a repeatance of Titanic with millions passengers...

This is not much, but I am posting it to thank friends who kept us in their thought during our difficult hours before the landfall of Hurricane Rita.

Houston miraculously escaped the disaster at the last minutes. We don't have pictures of "big damage" to show you but we think you didn't wish us to take the toll.

Houston Rushes to Return to Normal now, staring from highways heading back toward town and gosoline stations...

Thank you again for your concern and kindness.
