Rose: This sculpture is part of Kenney's traveling exhibition, World of Bugs.

Kenney's rose is 7 feet tall and was built with 41,242 LEGO pieces. Much of the brickwork on this elegant piece was done by his assistant, Jung Ah. The stem is reinforced with a steel core, and every piece is glued to the next.

The scale of this is hard to tell from the photo, although the guard rail helps. Another interesting lego photo.

Hello Murat,
The red petals actually look quite soft, despite being made of hard plastic pieces. The many shadows, which you probably had wished to avoid, have become interesting parts of the composition. The fox chasing the rabbits might scare children.

Hello Murat, three excellent shots showing the skill of the maker.
I like the shadows that the giant rose has created on the wall behind, echoing its shape and adding further interest to the picture.

You had a problem with this shot, trying to show its height whilst not spoiling the beauty of the composition!
But, we trust your notes!

I love the shadows, overlapping and of different intensities; they really add to the artistry!
I think I would have cloned out the stick!
