My wife and I love the Alicia Keys music Empire State of Mind. Here a photo I took from roosevelt island where we can see the Empire State Building in the background. The famous artdeco building with it 102 floors built in 1931.

From the roosevelt Island whe have a fantastic skyline view of Manhattan.

Hello Andre,

I have only been once, but I loved N.Y. too!

From this view, the early 'tall buildings' have a very different style and height to the later creations but they make the most delightful introduction to the N.Y skyline, where the Empire State building appears to be on tip-toe, demanding to be seen!
Excellent clarity and well saturated colours.

Hi Andre,
Lovely mixture of very different high rise buildings. The Empire State Building is of course well recognizable. But from this angle that tall black brick really catches my attention. Great view over the river.

The view from Roosevelt Island is always lovely. I like how the Empire State Building seems to be playing peek-a-boo in this scene. :-) That tall, black building looks even taller than the ESB with your POV.

I like the view from a different perspective. Very sharp and nicely captured. I like the clouds floating by in the background. Gave the image some character.

uma foto diferente do famoso prédio onde ele não é a estrela principal, mas rouba a cena. lindas amostras da arquitetura da cidade. presumo que a gente deve se deparar com fabulosos tesouros de arquitetura em cada esquina da cidade.
