Photographer's Note

The Rio Grande corridor is also a migration highway for many species passing through the desert. Elevation contrasts create additional, varied micro-climates that further enhance the diversity of plant and animal life and the park's wealth of natural boundaries. Birders and other wildlife watchers know that the greatest numbers of species often are found at the ecotone (the transition area) between adjacent ecological habitats. The park's many, varied ecotones-formed by river, desert, and mountains-result in an outstanding diversity of wildlife.

I'm so interested, are you a bird watcher, too?
It must be so satisfying to see a wide variety of different species from the one location.

You show us a fine view, where the shrub land gives way to a folded, rocky landscape, dominated, in the b/g, by an impressive, eroded mountain.

Jedna z wielu Twoich barwnych kompozycji Big Bend, ta w szczegolnosci przypadla mi do gustu. Wspaniale ukazuje ta scena roznorodna rzezbe terenu oraz zmienna kolorystyke. Wyjatkowego ksztaltu skala mocno przyciaga wzrok, wyobrazam sobie trudny teren warunkami atmosferycznymi.
