Photographer's Note

This mid 50s Chevrolet stationwagon at the Ventura Auto Show brought back early teen memories of weekend fishing trips with my Father. He had a 1953 wagon and the back seat folded down and he would sleep inside on a mattress, while I got to sleep outside on a army surplus cot. I really was attracted to seeing Nature and fishing was only the tool to get outside urban SoCal. A big benefit of sleeping in California's deserts and mountains was the night sky, the stars radiated beyond civilization.
