Photographer's Note

Sunset on Fort Myers Beach this past Sunday. Taken at the Little Estero Island Critical Wildlife Area.

Imagine this: Going from west to east you have the Gulf of Mexico, then a strip of sand and wetlands (designated as the critical wildlife area) that is only about 300 feet wide, and then right next to that a whole bunch of high rise condo buildings and a hotel. I find it sort of strange but the birds seem to like it, as do the people occupying the buildings.
