Photographer's Note

I'm getting to the bottom of my bag for Alaska shots. If I'm digging to deep.. please let me know.

I like this image because of the colors and the cloud shadows playing on peak. Its just another view from the Dalton Highway, but I find it somewhat inspiring.

Another thing you might notice here and in some of my other shots from along this road is the trees. Notice how they tend to lean helter skelter. The native of this area refer to these types of forest as "drunken" forest. This is due to the effects of frost heaving the earth in which they stand, sometimes leaning this way and sometimes that. I noticed it made it difficult at time to get the horizon straight with out vertical references that are aplumb.
