Photographer's Note

The town of Walla Walla is surrounded by farms and vineyards. The Whitman Mission is nearby and also surrounded by farms. The mission is a historic site and home to part of the Oregon Trail. This farm can be seen from the hike up the hill to the Whitman Memorial.

Hey Nicholas,

I can easily feel the spirit of this photo. Small town, surrounded by a field full of crops - in summer at least - makes you wonder what people are like there. Amazing backdrop with the vast prairie.
The colors could perhaps be just a bit more saturated, especially on the barn.
