Photographer's Note

Here is another shot of my beloved Wellsville Mountains. I'm also shooting into the sun again.

The Wellsvilles are the steepest mountains in the world--meaning, they have the smallest angle from ridge to base than any mountain range. They aren't that tall and only rise to about 10,000 feet. There are several good hiking trails through these mountains. Once on top, the trail is about as wide as the ridge, and then both sides go steeply down.

When I hike these mountains again this summer, I'll show you some photos from on top!
