Photographer's Note
This is Cascade Springs, located in the Wasatch Mountains near Heber City, Utah. These are large springs at least in area, which cascade down a hillside. It is a wonderful area to see wildlife, all sorts of plants, and even do some people watching.
Although I'm not totally into cotton candy water (I grabbed this one for you Robert, I shot one for me at about 1/30 sec.) I thought it made a nice image.
Not much manipulation, a little rotation and cropping. Let the camera do its thing.

Hi, Dana, I get your comment about the cotton candy water, and I'm not a big fan of it either...looks artificial and overdone. However, here, with the vibrant greens (is that saturation, or were they really that bright?) it creates a dreamy effect that is rather pleasant. Nice pov.

I like the "cotton candy" water. But it would be nice to see your version at 1/30 sec. Did you get wet? Looks like you had to be in the stream to get this picture....

Hi Dana
Youre right, it is like cotton. However the most impressive is sharpness of the flowers and leaves with such a long exposure.
Cheers

Woderful capture of motion of water. Good use of slow shutter speed. Also vivid is the colour of greenery. TFS.

Yea...blame it all on me.
You know that deep down inside you really are compelled to produce 'eye-candy'...it's part of your general nature. ;-)
I do like the image...part of me wishes that I could have been there to see you mincing about the stream clutching your D200 like Linus's blanket.
Nice image...I really like the right side above where the moving plant is. I'd be tempted to crop some of that in closer. I'm amazed that it was still that green up there this time of year. You must have gone after the last big rainstorm.
Very nice.
