Photographer's Note

"Devil's Garden" evokes evil and danger, etc. Yet photographers find nothing 'devilish' here, except perhaps too many tourists. This image is from a decade ago, and early morning because we were camped nearby to the starting trail.
Landscape Arch is long and sinewy Entrada sandstone, 290 feet long and a thinnest section of 6 feet thick.
To get there - end of the Park road, Devils Garden parking area. From there on the marked hiking trail it is an easy one mile stroll to Landscape Arch. And a bonus for those with more time, the trail continues on to the impressive Double O Arch.

PS: For those 'color' verseus monochrome photographers. I am enjoying converting older color film and digital into black & white. B W is what we were trained in decades ago, using b w enlargers to print from film.
And a major bonus now is converting 'harsh light' color images into monochrome, which upon conversion pays attention to details and textures, rather than the immediate bang of color.
