Photographer's Note

I know exactly how you feel :))) I was sitting here myself for some time not knowing how I can put this into words. And yet, when I come back to this picture it is not just “stone and sky” for me but I always feel a lot of energy floating out of my screen. I love the warm evening light that shines on the stone and I remember well how it felt leaning against the warm rocks heated from the sun that was shining from sunrise to sunset all day long with no pause. The air had calmed down which felt wonderful after a stormy afternoon when we had sand everywhere and I was a little scared what my camera would do with this kind of peeling :))) The photo was taken while doing one of the wonderful trails (in this case Angels Palace Trail) you can hike behind the campground that we stayed. Nothing complicated but giving you a great idea of the area.
